Millennial Media recently published its Mobile Mix report on marketshare of users via ad hits. The study showed that 48 percent of all smartphones in the Mobile Mix study were on Google Android, with iOS in second place with 31 percent and RIM’s Blackberry at 18 percent.

Nokia’s Symbian and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile/Phone platforms had less than 1 percent each. In terms of total revenue iOS devices were on top with 47 percent, wile Android followed with 36 percent, and RIM had only 7 percent overall.
