Lenovo is developing a game console for the Chinese market. According to the China Daily, the world’s fourth largest maker of PCs is working with Beijing-based eedoo Technology to create the eBox console.

The eBox is also rumored to feature Kinect-like motion control and is scheduled for release in 2011. Traditionally, game consoles have not had much success in China, since piracy is rampant and law discourages their sale.
