A slew of influencers have certainly garnered some not-so-small-time cash to post things on their respective accounts, but what if regular folks like you and I could tap into some of this as well

Then there is Chit. Or maybe not. Chit’s Indiegogo campaign has amassed only $257 of the $67,000 they need to proceed with their project, but the idea is bound to fly when the time and conditions are right. We are certainly getting close.

Back in 2012, Kellog’s incentivized tweets by giving patrons of their London shop snack bars and Marc Jacobs organized a similar campaign where handbags were purchased by tweeting and not with cash. Why not bring this into a grander scale where brands can incentivize tweets not just for their own products, but others as well in a mutally appreciative, mutually beneficial social marketplace

These guys are onto something…
