Sims Get Mobile Free-To-Play Game

Electronic Arts has announced they are bringing a free-to-play Sims title to iOS platforms very soon. Called The Sims FreePlay, the game will be supported by micro-transactions, with all of the in-game content available without paying cash, but real-money payments speed up the process.

The Sims FreePlay will operate on a 24-hour cycle that will encourage players to check in periodically rather than play for one long period. There are 16 unique Sims of varying backgrounds in the game, with all the usual sort of Sims items available to acquire, from furniture and other home improvements, to urban improvements like shops and parks.

Uncharted 4 Will Depend On New Ideas, Fan Demand

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is the latest masterpiece from Naughty Dog, though some have wondered if it will wrap up the franchise. Naughty Dog game director Justin Richmond, however, indicates that Uncharted was never meant to be a trilogy and that ever game is designed to be a stand-alone experience.

“We have always said that if we think that we can make something new and interesting, if the fans still want them, then we can make another one,” said Richmond. “But we never said how many of these things there will be. There are plenty more stories in the universe. It is just a question of what’s the company interested in doing next. We really don’t know at this moment.”

“We’re trying to recover from the process of making it and I think we will come back together and maybe this month and next month make a decision about what we are going to do next,” he added.
