Not soon after they opened an Angry Birds theme park in Finland, Rovio has announced that they’re looking to do the same in China. The region is Rovio’s second largest and they want to capitalize on the largest growing mobile market on the planet.

“The activity parks are not like theme parks where people stand for two hours and ride for 10 minutes,” said Rovio’s Mighty Eagle Peter Vesterbacka. “We want our fans to be part of the game.”

“It is very important to understand that our plan is not to build those massive theme parks,” he noted. “We will have many activity parks around cities in China.”
