Next year should be an interesting one for PC’s, as far as a report from IDC is concerned.

The forecast indicates that 2013 sales for PC’s will fall approximately 10.1 percent, a slightly higher percentage rate than the 9.7 it previously reported.

A number of players will take part in the PC market next year, including Microsoft, Intel, Dell and others, with estimated monthly sales of 25 million, and 75 million per quarter around the world. IDC believes this prediction will hold steady at least through 2017, as far as yearly numbers are concerned.
