THQ announced today that Red Faction: Origins will debut on June 4, at 9 p.m. on Syfy. It will come out less than a week after the game Red Faction Armageddon releases.
Red Faction: Origins is directed by Peabody-Award winner Michael Nankin and stars Brian J. Smith, Kate Vernon and Devon Graye. The movie follows the children of rebel hero Alec Mason, and is set during a period between the Red Faction Guerrilla and Red Faction Armageddon video games.
