Ready to take your augmented gaming experience to the next level 13th Lab is here to help.

The Stockholm-based computer vision company has introduced a new device called the Rescape, a game controller that allows players to turn their world into a virtual gaming arena.

The device offers mobile, multiplayer-based augmented reality games that use the players’ surroundings to make the game action happen. They can move around their home, office or anywhere while playing first-person shooting games. The developers are calling it “Reality Gaming,” namely because of how it uses real-world locales for gaming action.

13th Lab recently kicked off a Kickstarter campaign to get funding on the project, in which it aims to get $150,000 by April 17th. If the goal is met, the device is set to ship sometime later this year.

Full details on the Rescape can be found here.
