Adhesive Games announced it will open a beta for the company’s mech FPS, Hawken. The game will launch on December 12, 2012 and will be free-to-play.
“Hawken is a passion project for myself and the whole Adhesive team; giving it away for free is icing on the cake,” said Adhesive CEO, co-founder and creative director Khang Le in the announcement.
Hawken has already registered 100,000 players for its beta. Those that get three friends to sign up at PlayHawken.com will be able to reserve their callsign.
