According to reports, Foxconn Electronics is working to ship roughly a half million units of the iPad 2 within the next three months. Apple is apparently planning to launch the iPad 2 as soon as late February 2011.
Foxconn has roughly1.8 million units of iPad inventory left over for the fourth quarter, and will start reducing order volumes beginning in February. This will allow for the phase out of the iPad and transition in of the iPad 2 sometime between February and April.
