The same Vietnamese website that posted what appeared to be images of the iPhone 4G has snagged another prototype. The latest leak features a new version of the iPod with a rear-facing camera.
The devices has a DVT-1 label, designating it as a Design Verification Test model. Foxconn made the model, meaning it has diagnostic utility for testing its functions, with a OV2665-6S from Omnivision and display panels from Wintek.
One has to wonder if these leaks will cause Apple to reexamine some of their Asian partners (since all of these Vietnamese leaks are likely coming from one source). That said, even though Apple doesn’t like these leaks, it does keep their iPhone and iPod brands in the news.
