It’s not often you see a weird occurrence happening overseas, especially one involving a submarine. But how about one that was actually planned?

That was the case in Milan earlier this week, when a submarine appeared to have broken through the street. However, citizens have nothing to worry about — it’s actually an elaborate campaign that was put together by ad agency M&C Saatchi Milano.

The promotion was a tie-in with insurance firms Europ Assistance IT and Gerertel, put together through an organized stunt. The idea behind it was to promote being safe-guarded against unlikely events, both personally and with possessions.

Be on the lookout for the unexpected, because you never know when a submarine will pop up.
