Project Eternity‘s Kickstarter has concluded, and the total raised was $3,986,929 from 73,986 backers. This was slightly short of the final stretch goal of $4 million, promising general game enhancements like live instrumentation for the soundtrack and developer in-game commentary, though it is unknown if they’ll fudge the difference and add some enhancements anyway.
“Unfortunately this couldn’t last for an Eternity, but it was an absolutely incredible run,” posted Obsidian on their website. “A profound thanks to all of you – our backers here on Kickstarter and on PayPal, all of our old and new friends from the comments section and our forums, and of course, the Obsidian Order!
