Sony is taking its outreach beyond the digital world with its latest deal, as it hopes its logo will make an impact in the boxing one.

Sony Computer Entertainment of America has partnered with Top Rank Boxing, one of the biggest promotional sports companies in the world. Through the deal, the PlayStation brand, along with ads for the PlayStation 4 console, will appear in many circles of the boxing promotion. These include clothing, arena locations, and TV spots, among other appearances.

The first event that will make use of this new deal is the forthcoming April 12 bout between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley.

This is the latest marketing move on Sony’s part, as it recently put millions of dollars into a new ad campaign featuring such titles as Destiny and Watch Dogs, both of which will have exclusive content on PlayStation consoles.
