Michel Ancel has confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will not make it to this current generation of consoles. The game got put on hold while he worked on making Rayman Origins.
“It is still alive and we are very far [into] development so we can’t go back now,” he said. “We are targeting the next generation of consoles.”
Beyond Good & Evil is a cult classic that originally released on PS2, GCN, and Xbox, with 2011 seeing an HD remaster on Xbox Live and PSN.
