LinkedIn Corp. has managed to make the most of their IPO, starting at $45 per share, surging quickly to over $80 and raising $352.8 million in one day. While Facebook and Twitter mostly make their revenue as social networks via ads, LinkedIn mostly makes money from the service for recruiters.

The valuation for LinkedIn is rich, said Michael Moe, chief investment officer of GSV Capital Management. To earn the valuation, it has to continue to grow very, very fast.
