Reports are that Marvel is working on a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. It is believed that the group will be fighting a race known as the Badoom in the future before being sent back to the present day.
It is believed that the Guardians would encounter the Avengers during the course of their movie. The post credits scene in Avengers of Thanos is widely believed to be a tie into this.
The Marvel movie plans for this web of movies is currently to put out Iron Man 3 on May 3, 2013, and Thor 2 on November 15, 2013. Captain America 2 is scheduled for April 4, 2014 and then Guardians of the Galaxy could hit May 16, 2014 before everything wraps up in Avengers 2 in 2015.
