Actress Megan Fox and director Michael Bay exchanged some famously heated words when Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was releasing, though indications were that she would return for the third installment of the blockbuster movie franchise. However, Paramount has announced that it did not pick up Fox’s option for the third film.
For her part, Fox indicated that she opted out of the contract. “Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3,” said reps for the actress. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”
Filming for Transformers 3 is scheduled to happen this Summer with director Bay, actor Shia LaBeouf and whomever they decide to cast as his new love interest.
