Sony Online Entertainment has announced that Payday: The Heist will be available for a free trial over the weekend. Named one of PC Mags ‘Top 10 Best PC Games for 2011’, it took the number two spot on PSN’s top seller list during the month of October.

“Head to Steam to check out the amazing heists today until Sunday, March 4 at 1 PM PT for FREE,” advised the SOE spokesperson. “Also, players can buy the PC version of the game this weekend at 50 percent off through the morning of March 5.”
