Valve has announced that they are giving away the first Portal on Steam. The game is available at http://store.steampowered.com/app/400/.

Portal will be available on Steam for until September 20. The game is being made available for free as art of Valve’s “Learn With Portals” program, wherein they’re encouraging kids to create Portal levels themselves.
