In the ten days leading up to the Republican convention, Mitt Romney has held an advantage in positive tweets over President Obama. The officially addition of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan to the Republican ticket helped Romney immensely on Twitter.

Romney’s swing state Twitter trend is better than around the nation; on August 24, Obama had a national index score of 23 and Romney’s score was 28, while the swing state index for that day saw Obama at 19 and Romney at 36. More recent stores saw Romney around 40 and Obama around 28 in both the national and swing states.
