GK Films has announced that they have purchased the rights to the Tomb Raider film franchise from Square Enix. The reboot of the franchise that saw two entries starring Angelina Jolie roughly a decade ago is expected to release in 2013.
We are very excited to be rebooting what is already a hugely successful film franchise and continuing the Tomb Raider phenomenon, said GK Films producer Graham King.
