Nintendo has confirmed that the Wii will see a price cut of $50 to $149.99 on May 15. The new Wii bundle supporting this price point will ship in white or black, include the Wii Remote Plus and feature Mario Kart Wii (with Wii wheel) as the pack-in game.
Both Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort will be taken out of the default bundle, instead placed in the “Nintendo Selects” line of titles retailing for $19.99. Other titles in the budget lineup include Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Mario Super Sluggers.
