You can only download so much to an Xbox One console these days, as it only has a 500 GB hard drive with hardly any room for expansion. However, Microsoft is looking to fix that issue sooner rather than later.

While speaking on a Reddit Q & A, Microsoft spokesman Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb confirmed that the company is looking to expand its storage facilities for games and other data.

“External game storage is coming soon…I need to check on media support,” said Hyrb during the Q & A.

There’s no word on when the update will be applied, but we could know more in a few months’ time during the company’s E3 press conference this June.
