According to a source, Apple will be introducing a new MacBook Air at their Fall conference. It is believed that they will keep the screen size below 13.3 inches, have an older Intel Core processor, and the Nvidia’s MCP89 chipset.

Apple will also show that the new MacBook Air has a longer battery life. It is also likely that the new price will be lower than the current current $1,499 for the MacBook Air, responding to the market for cheap, lightweight laptops and netbooks.
