A recent survey of independent technology retailers and resellers in the U.K. showed only 23 percent who thought 3D TVs would take off in 2011; 55 percent gave a definite no, and 22 percent were unsure. Additionally, only 30 percent saw cloud computing as having a major impact on retail.

No way are people going to sit in their living rooms watching TV in 3D glasses, not a chance, one retailer said, with another saying, In the cinema, yes I can see the point, but I haven t had anybody in my shop asking for it.
