Trion Worlds has officially announced that they will be working on Defiance. The described as a shooter-style MMO, it is coming to PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
Defiance is the first multi-platform shooter MMO which, in a ground-breaking entertainment experience, interconnects with a global television program by Syfy, cable s premier imagination-based entertainment channel. Announced last year, the first live gameplay demo of Trion and Syfy s visionary concept will debut at the annual industry event, says the release by Trion. On the television side, the Defiance series, to be produced by Universal Cable Productions, will be penned by Rockne S. O’Bannon, a legendary sci-fi TV writer best-known for his work on Warehouse 13, Alien Nation, seaQuest DSV, and Farscape.
