In Ice Age: Continental Drift, Manny, Diego, and Sid are about to embark upon another adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world. On the official website, fans of all ages can engage in many different ways.

To encourage social responsibility alongside the campaign, Ice Age has partnered with Keep America Beautiful and Scholastic in the “Random Acts of Niceness” campaign. Kids and parents are encouraged to participate and make a difference in their community to be eligible for a sweepstakes to win a private movie screening of a game system. On the website for Keep America Beautiful, fans can register to participate in local events and volunteer to be eligible to enter the sweepstakes. At Scholastic.com/iceage, teachers, parents, families and kids will find a suite of downloadables and activity sheets that all align with the National Science and Education Standards and the Common Core State Standards.

Fans can also participate in the Ice Age Niceness Personality Quiz to find out if they are more like Manny and able to show the world your niceness or are they more of a secret do-gooder like Diego Or are they just obsessed with their goals (and acorn) like Scrat

Back on the official website, a host of desktop and mobile engagements are ready to keep fans clicking. A mini-game experience called “Walk the Plank” where the user must balance on an iceberg and help rescue friends as they are tossed from a pirate ship.

Partnering with Goldrun on both iOS and Android, fans can use the virtual photo app to share pics of themselves with the characters from Ice Age to earn rewards.

The official app “Ice Age Village” has also arrived for both iOS and Android with the release of Continental Drift. Scrat’s hunt for his favorite acorn has opened a crack in the Earth’s crust, sending the animals scurrying for safety. Manny, Ellie, Diego and Sid decide to build a new village for their displaced friends and the user must help them in this heroic challenge. Fans can also play mini-games featuring Scrat, everyone’s favorite saber-toothed squirrel.

Fans must work to build up the most beautiful village for all the creatures of the Ice Age world and level up to gain access to new animal species, cool buildings and unique decorations. Daily challenges, funny quests and side missions keep the village bustling with activity.

Friends from Gameloft LIVE! & Facebook can also be invited to join and play and build their own village. Users get rewarded for visiting friends’ villages and performing an action where they “Like it,” take care of it or just lending a hand.

Lastly, produced by 20th Century Fox, the omnipresent naturalist Lisa Simpson makes a cameo on the front page of the official site.
