The Dungeon Siege franchise will be entering a whole new era with the latest entry, being developed for the first time by Obsidian Software and published by Square Enix. As this first trailer reveals, much more emphasis will be put on the story.

While Scott Pilgrim vs. The World may not have lit up the box office, it’s certainly well on its way to becoming a cult hit. Witness this video, which takes the audio from the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World trailer and very cleverly puts it to appropriate images from the Matrix trilogy.
Even though Vanquish will be a single player experience, there will still be DLC. Check out this tri-weapon pack DLC, which will come free for those who pre-order the game, and includes the Laser Canon, Anti-Armor Pistol and Boost Machine Gun.
Samsung has been running a variety of ads emphasizing how great the screen is for the Galaxy S phone. The latest one is… well, very inspired by Halo in at least a couple ways.
A clip was plucked from the revived Futurama and shown at Comic Con, which depicted and parodied a future version of (what else ) Comic Con. Comedy Central has now released the clip (which is from the coming episode) where the disembodied heads of Matt Groening and David X. Cohen preview Futurella at Comic Con.

Metroid: Other M is going to be a unique game in the Metroid series, and its TV spot is appropriately unique for the series as well. Given the use of live action sequences with a moody tone, it’s more evocative of what Microsoft has done for the Halo and Gears of War series than other Metroid commercials.

Along with announcing the demon Dormammu and helmeted-hero Viewtiful Joe, Capcom had this new trailer to show off at Gamescom. Several of the characters for the game show up and strut their stuff.
Some clever vandal in Portland, Oregon has marked Mario Kart symbols in certain bike lanes. It probably wouldn’t be Nintendo’s style to do something like this, but it’s neat nonetheless.
In the opening sequence for Epic Mickey, the titular character acts mischievous and talks like Link (in the form of squeaks and grunts). It sets up the basic paint/thinner gameplay mechanics as well.
