On the official site for The Hangover 2, a tower climbing platformer called Crouching Monkey, Hidden Chow has been released to promote the theatrical release of the film on May 26. Featuring a character inspired by Mr. Chow (played by Ken Jeong) in the film, the play must punch, jump and kick their way through the bowels of a Bangkok strip club and chase down a monkey that has stolen valuable information. Part Elevator Action meets Double Dragon, the player is chased by the Russian mob and must clear each level and then proceed to the next floor up and fight thugs, elephants, monks and ladyboys. Mr. Chow provides obnoxious and offensive color commentary throughout the game. Character and object sprite animations were created by StickyTape also a member of PixelJoint. Spank the Monkey . . . hard!

Kung Fu Panda 2 Unleashes The Fury In Cityville

Dreamworks and Zynga have partnered again to bring Kung Fu Panda 2 to the 88 million people that play CityVille. Anyone can place a Panda -themed drive-in movie theater in their city. Player will receive collection items and a prize for completing the quest. Players receive collectible items once the theater is placed each depicting the movie’s Furious Five: Tiger, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey. Once complete the user has a chance to win a Po statue for their City.

A fresh take on the classic dungeon crawl experience, the official website for Hunted gathers the community at launch to begin the fight. Playing as the warrior Caddoc and the huntress E’lara, fans must fight their way through besieged towns, sprawling dungeons, and ancient ruins as they become entwined in a tale of corruption and deceit. The official site begins the quest by introducing the player to what’s next as they begin to untangle the mystery of the Demon’s Forge. Explore hi-res art of each of the characters like Caddoc, E’Lara, Seraphine and Annuvin and examine their profiles to determine how they use their weapons, shields, special skills and spells. Head over to the beastiary to get a look at the waves of enemies that will be encountered along the way ranging from demons and wargars to assassins and infected wargars. On the Facebook fan page, behind the scenes videos have given fans a greater understanding of the making of the game ranging from sound and character design and a look at Crucible Hunted‘s in-game level editor. On both the official film website and official video game website, a suite of online mini-games have been unleashed by Dreamworks for the launch of Kung Fu Panda 2. On the movie site, fans can try and help Po become master of the hula hoop, step up into the major leagues in a home run derby challenge or take it to the rim in kung fu hoops madness. An accompanying suite of mobile apps lets fans be the master and take Po wherever they go in a series of challenges or try to take Po on in a staring contest challenge. A soon to be released interactive cookbook and Po inspired e-comics are on the way as well as e-books featuring the art of Kung Fu Panda 2 and storybooks for kids. In partnership with HP, fans with a webcam can jump into a photo booth with any of their favorite characters from the film and customize and download a profile pic or image. Other games include Wok-A-Wolf, Slider Puzzle and Kung Fu Kickoff. All of the games are also accessible via a tab on the official Facebook page for Kung Fu Panda 2. L.A. Noire Shatters The Expectations Of Video Game Soundtracks

Jazz reigned as America’s most popular form of musical entertainment in the 1940s and was at its apex of creative innovation, from the emergence of Bebop to the revitalization of Dixieland. Continuing in the Rockstar tradition of incorporating music as a bridge to the game world, on the official website for L.A. Noire fans can explore the rich musical history that accompanies the vivid and historic LA environments of the game.  Now available at iTunes now (North America or Europe), the OST features instrumental and vocal tracks from the game’s soundtrack by Andrew Hale, Claudia Brucken and Woody Jackson.

The music of L.A. Noire features a dramatic original score that supports Cole Phelps through each crime scene, interrogation, and car chase along with classic licensed standards from the period.  The score plays a critical role in the game as musical cues help notify Cole Phelps where additional clues can be found and when he has exhausted the investigation of a crime scene.
