Honda has launched the The Super Civic Quest {app no longer active} on Facebook featuring over 30 unique clues and seven unique pieces of custom content. A digital scavenger hunt of epic proportions, users must follow a trail of clues and earn rewards like Facebook credits, Amazon MP3 song downloads or even a brand new 2012 Honda Civic LX Sedan. To play, fans must help Cesar the champion Luchador of the world get to his title match against El Burrito Caliente. However, Cesar has forgotten where he’s parked his car which could be anywhere on the internet! Play the game to progress through 5 levels each with a series of clues scattered across the digital universe, from social apps to websites. Each time the user completes a level, they get closer to the location of Cesar’s Civic. Engagements range from checking a cell phone for photos from the night before to e-mail photos of the Civic to friends of Cesar. As the game progresses, the tasks get more difficult.

At the website for Infinite Oath fans must link their YouTube account to participate and then film themselves reciting the ubiquitous Green Lantern oath ( …in brightest day, in blackest night… ) to then have their submission included on the destination site. Once posted, fans can browse other submissions and share to Facebook and Twitter. A few selects include Batman, an eyeball, a lantern ring, the utlimate Green Lantern fan and a guy in a starfish mask all reciting the oath.

Reese’s Constructs A Facebook Tab To Bring Green Lantern Corps Together

In partnership with Reese’s, Warner Brothers has launched a destination Facebook tab in anticipation of the launch of Green Lantern. A rich, robust experience loaded with engagements, at the top of the tab a countdown clock keeps track of the days, hours and minutes until the film opens. Also, a large trailer window takes up the middle of the iframe above the fold. Fans can invite the corps {link no longer available} from the Facebook friends by first choosing a location and time to see the film, then invite their friends to assemble their own Green Lantern corps. As a group is assembled, the user can customize the design of the group and share with friends and followers. Fans can also customize their profile picture   {link no longer available}  or share with friends from a custom set of Green Lantern collectible cards featuring a wide cross section of characters from the film. A selection of images from the film with key facts from the legacy of Green Lantern are also featured alongside funny quips from a Reese’s peanut butter cup. Weekly mini-missions require the user to share their peanut butter corps badge to Facebook. Super 8 Launches First Tweet Movie Sneak Preview

Sneak preview showings of J.J. Abrams’ Super 8 will take place 1 day, Thursday, June 9, in advance of the film s scheduled nationwide release on Friday, June 10. To promote entrance to sneak previews, a hashtag #Super8Secret,  {link no longer active} which is also a promoted trend, will allow Twitter users to buy tickets to the advanced previews. Super 8 sneak preview moviegoers will be treated to a free popcorn with a concession purchase. This is the first sneak preview for Twitter. In a partnership with Intel and Roxio, Operation Flashpoint Red River has launched a destination website and Facebook tab {link no longer active} challenging fans to make their own trailer. On the Theater of War site fans can start their mission and drag gameplay clips, transitions, music and sounds to craft the ultimate trailer. Facebook connect-enabled, a user can pull in a photo to claim bragging rights on each clip for the director. Once completed, fans can save their creation to the gallery and share with their friends. Grand prize includes a complete Medion PC rig with the highest end Intel and Nvidia processors, blu-ray player and runners up receive Roxio game capture software and copies of the game.

InFamous 2 Interactive Trailer Puts The Choice In Your Hands

Part of the official website for InFamous 2, an interactive trailer {link no longer active} allows fans to explore the living world of Empire City and the colorful characters that battle on the streets. After hitting play, fans can click on several hot spots in the video and explore deep content in a comic book style. Each hot spot adds additional video content to the ongoing narrative showing off gameplay moves, weapons and style.

‘Green Lantern: Rise Of The Manhunters’ Blasts Open Online

Available today for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Nintendo DS and 3DS, Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters has turned the web green in anticipation of launch. On the official webpage {link no longer active} , even the logos for the official Facebook and YouTube channels have been turned green! Each outlet features different views on the game taking the user deeper into understanding how the game plays on different consoles. On the Facebook page, a 3D energy viewer   {link no longer active}  lets fans scroll through 3D 360 energized screenshots in both SD and HD. On the Home destination tab, fans can choose to view 3D 360 screenshots or jump right into a power ring battle   {link no longer active}  with their friends. Choose from one of three constructs (blunt, projectile or sharp) similar to what Hal Jordan could conjure with his mind and challenge friends to a battle. Once a construct is chosen, the user must choose a friend to battle and a post is sent to their wall. Wins and losses are counted and a leaderboard keeps track of who is in the lead. On the official YouTube channel, a trailer for the Nintendo 3DS version of the game is featured in autoplay along with trailers for the DS version and the console versions of the game.
