Chase The Wild Rabbit

In Cognac, France, where Hennessy is made, rabbits run wild. But the intriguing animals are rarely seen. Over time, people invented tales about them, about a creature that lives in people’s minds. This elusive Wild Rabbit is thought to drive people from one success to another. For 250 years Hennessy’s Wild Rabbit has been to build on their expertise to push their world class cognac ever closer to perfection. A new interactive website {link no longer active} has launched as part of Hennessy’s Wild Rabbit campaign. Designed to take the use on an interactive journey through the tales that make up the success of famous people over time (like Manny Pacquiao, for instance), the site is an interactive journey that allows each user to chase their own wild rabbit.

One Terran And One Zerg To Rule Them All

Taking place later this year, the Battle.net World Championship will be the culmination of more than 30 eSports events run by Blizzard and tournament organizers. Known collectively as the StarCraft II World Championship Series, the goal is to identify a true global champion, as players enter and qualify through open tournaments starting at the national level. The National Championships are designed to allow local heroes to rise to the top and be recognized in their country. The top finishers at each National Championship will earn spots at their continental Finals events, which will be an all-out brawl between neighboring countries to decide who will represent their continent at the Battle.net World Championship.

Do you think you have what it takes to compete at the Battle.net World Championship? To earn a seed for a Continental Championship, such as the StarCraft II World Championship Series North America Finals, you must first qualify through the National Championship based on your nationality. National Qualifiers will be the grassroots-level events that will give a wide-reaching opportunity to StarCraft II players to test their mettle and traverse the “Road to Worlds.” These will be, far-and-away, the most open opportunity to participate in a global-scale tournament that Blizzard Entertainment has ever put forth. Partners and organizations will be awarded National Championship seeds to distribute as they see fit, whether it be through brand-new events and tournaments, or online and live events, or by simply adding the seeds to their existing prize pools. The red band trailer for Seth MacFarlane’s Ted debuted this weekend online and it’s a tale about “a grown man (Mark Wahlberg) who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.” The CGI bear, voiced by MacFarlane (channeling Peter Griffin), also has a social media presence. On the film’s official website, TedIsReal.com, links you to Ted’s own Facebook and Twitter pages. The entries are pretty funny so far, but a little NSFW, so beware. The Facebook page gives some good character background for Ted, even telling us that he was “born” on Christmas, 1985.

Suits Are Real

He also included a video {link no longer active} of himself talking about a clue he got that lead him to Clive’s Tattoo Parlor {link no longer active}. Here is a commercial for Clive’s. There are obvious hints on the website and video (like the legal disclaimer) that Clive is an alien, there’s not much else to the website or commercial. Stay tuned for more extraterrestrial action.

The Amazing Spider-Man ARG is in full swing. Here is a quick overview of all of the touchpoints. The mystery began with a backpack delivered to journalists. Inside, a variety of items, taken together, clearly painted a portrait of the bag’s owner: Peter Parker, the hero they call Spider-Man. Items included keys, tennis shoes, sunglasses, safety goggles, a chemistry textbook, pencils and a pencil sharpener, a protractor, screws, rubber bands, film rolls, contact sheets, urban-setting photographs, Daily Bugle newspaper article clippings, and a sketchbook filled with costume ideas and various equations by Parker attempting to figure out viable angles and trajectories for web swinging with maximum velocity. This delivery followed the trailer debut for The Amazing Spider-Man which contained a hidden message near its end. The words “The Mark of the Spider-Man” were hidden in metal webbing — a phrase that led to a new website: markofthespider-man.com. The site, which bears a Spider-Man insignia, contains six TV-like screens, all of which have static. There is a countdown clock under each screen as well, ending at different times today — with these city locations: Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, and Seattle. “So, you’ve found us. If you support us, if you support Spider-Man, now is your time. Follow the Twitter accounts of our operatives in each of these cities. They’ll tell you where to go to uncover the next step. For this pursuit we ask that you please be over the age of 18. Be safe, and good luck. We’re counting on you.”
